The illustration program is designed to introduce students to the history, practice, language and business of this exciting public art form. Students pursuing this concentration are encouraged to work in any artistic media and develop a personal illustrative style. This program focuses on creating images to visually communicate narrative content that is reproduced and seen by the general public. Illustrators are hired to create imagery for books, magazines, posters, wearable graphics, feature animations, games, packaging and the Internet.
